Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, manage the reservation system to organize seating and waitlists, and escort patrons to tables while accommodating special requests. Notify guests when tables are available, inform them of their server's name, and thank them as they leave. Handle to-go orders, answer inquiries about large parties and catering, and wipe down menus as they are returned. Keep the host area, floors, and door glass clean and presentable. Assist in any front-of-house positions, including bathroom checks and cleaning, as needed. Work in a standing position for extended periods in a collaborative atmosphere at Keke's Café in Sunnyvale.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
- Current, valid California food handlers card
- Must be flexible and willing to assist in any front-of-house (FOH) positions, including performing bathroom checks and cleaning, as needed
