Job Summary
Host/Hostess greets and escorts guests to tables, answers the phone and takes reservations into the Open Table database, maintains the host desk and menus, records reservations and special functions, and ensures open communication between guests, management, and team members. Responsibilities include observing safety procedures, working efficiently as part of a team, and upholding standards of neat appearance. Requires knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations, ability to read English, and a high school diploma. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be flexible with schedules.
