Job Summary
Greet and seat arriving and departing guests while managing the wait list and maintaining overall guest flow. Escort guests to tables, present menus, explain specials, and accommodate special needs such as highchairs or disabilities. Answer phones and schedule dining reservations in advance using the computer system. Inspect dining facilities for cleanliness issues, instruct bussers and servers as needed, and report unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain a clean work area, attend required meetings, and cross-train as assigned by the supervisor. Uphold professional relationships with team members while maintaining composure under stress.
