Host/Hostess needed at Hawthorne & Wood in Chapel Hill. Ideal candidates are highly organized and personable with strong people skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure. The role supports wait staff, other staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow. Requires 1+ year of customer service experience; HS diploma preferred; willingness to work weekends/holidays; flexible schedule; ability to stand for 6 hours and lift up to 50 lbs; strong time management; team player.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer service is required.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/evening shifts.
- 1+ years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work on feet for 6 hours a shift.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead onto high shelves.
- Advanced time management experience.
- Friendly, open disposition.
- Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
