Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, answer telephone calls, take reservations, and manage efficient seating to tables matching guest wishes. Provide menus and general information about restaurant and hotel meal options. Maintain a waiting list, record guest names and party sizes, estimate wait times, and notify parties when tables are available. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course, thank them upon departure, and invite future returns. Clean work and waiting areas according to department standards while following all food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Requires ability to use telephone and computer systems, with prior hospitality experience desired. Flexible availability needed for various shift times.

- Must demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Requires communication and interpersonal skills and commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction
- Requires ability to learn and use telephone and computer systems used at the hotel
