Job Summary
Greet every guest like family, seat them with intention, and manage reservations and waitlists to ensure smooth operations. Stay aware of crowd flow, table turns, and special requests while keeping up with the menu, specials, 86'd items, and drink options. Know the floor plan inside out, including seat numbers and capacity, and share local happenings to enhance the guest experience. Maintain clear communication on and in person while handling basic math for party counts and bills. Requires standing the entire shift with frequent movement and lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and quick on your feet
- Can communicate clearly in person and on the phone
- Organized and confident using a POS or reservation system
- Comfortable handling basic math for party counts, bills, or reservations
- On your feet the entire shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 20 lbs occasionally)
- Talking with guests and answering phones throughout your shift
Desired Qualifications
- Previous host or customer service experience a plus
