Job Summary
Host Home Provider in Weld County, CO shares their home with an individual with developmental disabilities, providing a private bedroom and hands-on daily care. Responsibilities include personal care (hygiene, meals, dressing), employment coaching to help the client secure work, facilitating social and recreational activities, including the client in family life, accompanying to outings, providing transportation, assisting with medical care and medications, documenting progress notes and medical records, and training in life skills. Requires high school or equivalent, background checks, and CPR/First Aid training; minimum 1 year of host home provider experience; preferred experience with behavioral and medical needs (CNAs, LPNs, RNs). Bi-weekly pay and ongoing training are provided by Support Inc.
Required Qualifications
- high school or equivalent education (Required)
- Must complete and pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Must complete training for Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid and maintain ongoing training requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a host home provider
- Should preferably be experienced with behavioral needs
- Should preferably be experience with medical needs, preferred (i.e. CNAs, LPNs, RNs, etc.)
