Job Summary
Provide personal assistance, social and emotional support, and other personal care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home and community environment. Support activities of daily living including shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and hygiene routines. Administer medication as needed and manage transportation to scheduled activities and appointments. Complete documentation for services provided and monitor for signs of infections or behavioral escalation. This role requires a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. You must be at least 21 years old and possess a GED or diploma. The position involves on-call 24/7 support from a residential team of expert clinicians. Compensation varies based on the current difficulty of care rates, with supplemental room and board payments potentially available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a GED or diploma
- Must have dependable and reliable transportation with the ability to safely transport
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must have appropriate living environment with at least one available bedroom
- Must be competent and willing to perform Non-Violent Crisis Intervention physical managements as trained
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to effectively manage behavioral support
- Must be able to effectively monitor for signs of infections or behavioral escalation
- Must be able to effectively administer medication
- Must be able to effectively complete documentation
- Must be able to effectively provide personal assistance
- Must be able to effectively provide social and emotional support

Desired Qualifications

- CNA, LPN, or RN
