Job Summary
Provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual with developmental or physical disabilities in your home in the Lubbock, TX area. Establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house while ensuring their basic physical and emotional needs are met. Complete required trainings through Community Options and be open to supervisory visits in your home. This independently contracted position offers a per-diem reimbursement rate plus monthly room and board from the individual supported, which is tax exempt.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional
- Ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support
- Must be open to supervisory visits in your home
