Job Summary
Welcome guests with a warm attitude, manage the dining room flow, and assign tables based on party size and server availability. Monitor the waitlist, balance sections, and prioritize VIP requests while escorting guests to their seats. Communicate wait times clearly, answer phone calls regarding seating, and operate the POS system as needed. Oversee seating arrangements to avoid congestion, ensure restrooms are clean, and handle overflow situations by updating waitlists accurately. Maintain organized service areas and support the team during high-volume shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability based on location's business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, guest-first attitude and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
