Job Summary
Host Greeter responsible for menu knowledge and guest service, operating OpenTable, communicating with staff, maintaining a clean workstation, proactively meeting guest needs, staying present on the floor, respecting guests and coworkers, assisting teammates, maintaining a positive attitude, and supporting safe work practices while being familiar with Bernardus property and in-house events.
Required Qualifications
- Has full knowledge and understanding of the menus
- Understands the operation of the Open Table system
- Maintain communication with restaurant staff and guest requests
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Constantly monitors guest’s needs and responds promptly
- Maintains presence on the floor
- Respects co-workers and guests alike
- Assists co-workers when necessary
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Familiar with Bernardus property
- Aware of groups/ special events in house
- Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage
- Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
- Must meet legal age requirements for the position
- Food Handler Certificate
- RBS certificate
