Job Summary
Greet guests, escort them to tables, and ensure seating and service meet expectations. Deliver food to appropriate tables, confirm order accuracy, and answer questions regarding food orders. Clean tables, refill water glasses, stock the bar, wash dishes, and assist with food preparation. Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, entryway, kitchen, and equipment. Ensure menus are clean and in good condition while following all health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned during 8-hour shifts. This role supports the full lunch and dinner menu at 17 West, a premiere American Bistro in New Bremen, Ohio, featuring daily specials and live entertainment.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 2 years related experience
- Less than high school graduate
- Must be 16 years of age
- Job may require employee to drive a company or personal vehicle
- MVR is required
- Per 8-hour shift
- Stand for 8 hours
- Typical restaurant environment (Low to moderate noise level, low exposure to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, grease, wet floors, and vibrations.)
- Regular interactions with others and performs a degree of independent work
- Continuously lifts 11 to 20 pounds
- Frequently lifts 21 to 30 pounds
- Occasionally lifts 41 to 50 pounds
- Infrequently lifts 51 to 100 pounds
- Continuously bend/stoop/twist (greater than 30 degrees)
- Frequently grasp/grip (whole hand)
- Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States
- This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided

Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated working knowledge of cooking practices and methods
- Experienced in cold food stations
- Detail oriented with good organizational and communication skills
