Job Summary
Seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Host for FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar, responsible for maintaining a welcoming entrance, greeting guests, and ensuring prompt service. Key duties include managing reservations, assisting servers, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Candidates must have at least one year of restaurant experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle cash and use POS systems. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of restaurant experience, preferably in an upscale high volume environment
- Thorough understanding of safe and perceptive service
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to do basic math and handle cash
- Ability to work with Point of Sale systems
- Highly organized – demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays
