Job Summary
Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables while managing reservations and waitlists using OpenTable. Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway, then support the dining room by bussing tables as needed to ensure smooth service flow. Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume while partnering with the Front of House team. This role requires standing for eight hours or more, lifting items up to 25 pounds, and performing simple math calculations. Flexible schedules include time off on holidays and early closure on Christmas Eve, with competitive hourly wages and eligible benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day
- Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to be patient and have a guest-oriented mindset
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures
- Must have reliable transportation
- 18+ age requirements for FOH positions
