Host position in Marblehead, OH. The Hostess acts as the first customer-facing contact, greeting guests, managing the waiting list, seating guests or directing them to waiting areas, and providing menus. Responsible for answering phone inquiries about the restaurant and menu, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and responding to and resolving complaints. Must maintain strong menu knowledge and a professional, courteous demeanor at all times. Responsibilities include handling money accurately and operating a point-of-sale system, and lifting/maneuvering trays as needed. Works in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and restaurant experience.
