Job Summary
The Host/Door position involves greeting guests, seating them, and presenting clean menus while ensuring optimal service and hospitality. Responsibilities include taking names for the waiting list, managing the floor plan board, observing table statuses, accurately quoting wait times, and maintaining a clean and organized host area. The Host interacts with guests upon arrival and departure to ensure a positive dining experience, and may also assist with to-go orders. Adherence to Image & Costume guidelines is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to greet and seat guests in a friendly manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills for guest interaction.
- Ability to manage waiting lists and communicate wait times.
- Knowledge of menu items and the ability to answer guest inquiries.
