Job Summary
Host is the first and last point of contact, greeting guests, managing reservations with OpenTable/Resy, coordinating seating with servers and management, and handling entrances and departures with a warm, professional demeanor. Responsibilities include taking and organizing reservations, communicating wait times, maintaining the host stand and coat area, assisting servers and managers as needed, and upholding safety and service policies while working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires 2+ years of hosting experience in fine-dining or upscale restaurants, proficiency with OpenTable and Resy, excellent verbal communication and guest service skills, and a professional appearance; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent hospitality experience is preferred.
