Job Summary
Host greets and assists members with check-in, demonstrates in-depth knowledge of self-insured employer health insurance (including copays and coinsurance), and facilitates the member’s experience throughout the health center. Responsibilities include welcoming members, delivering hospitality and professional service, accommodating special requests, assisting with provider or patient requests, handling check-in transactions, understanding benefit eligibility and related workflows, answering calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with providers and staff to ensure a seamless patient-centered care experience. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 1 year in a customer service role; preferred qualifications include strong computer skills (Apple products, Windows, ChromeOS) and healthcare-service delivery experience, with BLS certification as a likely asset.
