Job Summary
As Host at Crooked Hammock Brewery, you’re the first face guests see, greeting with a warm smile and guiding seating flow to create a welcoming, high-energy experience. Duties include welcoming guests, managing seating availability, assisting with retail purchases (including gear or a six-pack to-go), relaying guest needs to the team, keeping guest areas clean, promoting loyalty programs and promotions, handling transactions, and representing the Crooked Hammock brand with a professional yet fun attitude. The role involves standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with an energetic team to ensure a seamless guest experience. Must enjoy hospitality and be eligible to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- A natural ability to make people feel welcome and comfortable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A friendly, energetic, and fun personality with a love for hospitality
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and experience handling transactions (or a willingness to learn)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed; ability to balance personal and professional life
