Job Summary
Check in all employees, answer phones, and take reservations and takeout orders. Greet, seat guests, and utilize Open Table to capture important information and map out the shift plan. Ensure menus, restrooms, and the host stand are clean, stocked, and organized. Work with managers to maintain proper wait times and interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience. This hourly position operates seven days a week, including holidays, with shifts starting as early as 9 AM and ending as late as 10 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests.)
- Basic reading skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
- Ability to work well with others and independently.
- Ability to organize and multi-task
