Job Summary
Host/Coat Check Attendant at Brooklyn Winery greets guests, manages reservations and wait times, escorts guests to dining and bar areas, and assists with opening/closing tasks. Leads mentor newer hosts, answers phones, schedules small party reservations, and directs large party reservations to management. Maintains a neat front-of-house, supports light housekeeping, and ensures sanitation and safe handling of alcoholic beverages. Requires knowledge of menus, reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy), and strong guest service skills; contributes to guest experience and team goals. Proficiency in English, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment are essential; prior customer service or server experience is preferred. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25-50 pounds; uniform and grooming standards apply. Experience with Aloha POS and wine knowledge preferred; willingness to participate in trainings and events including weddings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with reservation systems is required (Open Table, Resy, etc)
- Proficient in English
