Job Summary
As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing the waitlist and reservation system, escorting guests to their tables, handling guest payments accurately, and maintaining cleanliness at the host stand and cashier station. You will communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service, answer phone inquiries, and support floor staff during peak times. The ideal candidate is a people-person with multitasking abilities, confident in money handling, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to assist with lifting up to 25 lbs
- Confident handling money and operating POS or restaurant management systems
- Effective communication skills
- Organized and dependable with multitasking ability
- Flexibility with scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior hospitality, retail, or guest service experience is preferred but not required.
