Job Summary
Receive cash or credit card payments, compute bills on the P.O.S. system, and make change. Greets and seats patrons while coordinating restaurant flow, assigning stations, and supervising during the Supervisor's absence. Interacts with Service Staff and Patrons to resolve difficult situations, ensuring service quality standards are followed and answering guest questions per the Ameristar Standard. Answer the telephone professionally and handle cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Able to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be very friendly and outgoing
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be 21 or older for Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender
Desired Qualifications
- Previous cash handling experience is helpful
