Job Summary
Receive cash or credit card payments, compute bills on the P.O.S. system, and make change. Greets and seats patrons, coordinates restaurant flow, and assigns stations to servers. Supervises the restaurant during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager and resolves difficult situations between staff and guests. Ensures service quality standards are followed and answers guest questions and telephone inquiries professionally. Starting salary ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Able to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be very friendly and outgoing
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be 21 or older for Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender
Desired Qualifications
- Previous cash handling experience is helpful
