Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Monitor the restaurant to handle crowds, answer phones, and perform restroom checks. Keep the lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean and stocked, and practice safe food and beverage handling. Process cash and credit transactions accurately, assist with marketing promotions, and clear, sanitize, and set tables. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving managers when necessary. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving farm-fresh food with a focus on family dining and community roots.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)

- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
