Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and monitor restaurant flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Perform restroom checks, answer phones, and keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean and stocked. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, assist with marketing and situational selling, and clear or set tables as needed. Effectively manage guest wait times, resolve complaints, and communicate with guests to ensure a positive dining experience. This role requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Bob Evans offers early closes, no late nights, and competitive compensation up to $15.00 per hour with excellent benefits including a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
