Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Monitor restaurant needs, perform restroom checks, answer phones, and maintain cleanliness in the lobby, bakery, and retail areas. Handle cash and credit transactions, process gift cards, and accurately account for all receivables. Assist in marketing and promotional services by communicating new products to guests. Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed, and manage guest wait times by working with managers to quote accurate times. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving the manager when appropriate. This role offers early close hours with no late nights, up to $15.00 per hour depending on restaurant concept experience. Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions
- Strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
- Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
