Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Perform restroom checks, answer phones, and maintain cleanliness in the lobby, bakery, and retail areas. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, assist with promotional services and situational selling, and clear or set tables as needed. Effectively communicate with guests, address complaints by involving management when appropriate, and manage wait times through collaboration with managers. Stand for entire shifts, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
