Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Monitor restaurant operations to handle crowds, answer phones, and perform restroom checks. Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, bakery, and retail areas, and ensure safe food and beverage handling. Process cash and credit transactions accurately, assist with marketing promotions, and clear tables as needed. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving managers when appropriate. Manage wait times by working with leadership to quote accurate estimates. Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly with guests and staff.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
