Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and monitor restaurant flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Perform restroom checks, answer phones, and keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean and stocked. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables, and assist with marketing and situational selling. Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed, manage wait times with managers, and effectively resolve guest complaints by involving the appropriate manager. This role supports Bob Evans Restaurants, LLC in serving high-quality farm-fresh food to families, emphasizing perfect plates and bags. Candidates must possess excellent guest service skills, strong menu knowledge, and the ability to accurately handle money and process credit card transactions.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
