Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and monitor dining flow while delivering menus and managing wait times. Perform restroom checks, maintain lobby and retail cleanliness, and handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy. Clear and sanitize tables as needed, assist with promotional services, and effectively manage guest complaints by involving management when appropriate. Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and utilize the POS system to process orders. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food and provides opportunities for career growth within a family-owned community-focused organization.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
