Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and monitor restaurant flow while delivering menus and managing wait times. Perform restroom checks, answer phones, and keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean and stocked. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables, and assist with promotional services and situational selling. Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed, and effectively address guest complaints by involving management when appropriate. Practice safe food and beverage handling and communicate clearly with guests. This role requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking to prioritize guest service and operational efficiency at Bob Evans Restaurants, LLC.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
