Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Monitor restaurant operations, perform restroom checks, and keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean and stocked. Handle cash and credit transactions, process gift cards, and accurately account for all receivables. Assist in marketing by communicating promotions and situational selling to guests. Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed, and manage wait times by coordinating with managers. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving the manager when appropriate. Perform duties requiring standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced dining environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions
- Strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
- Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
