Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and monitor restaurant flow to seat them appropriately while delivering menus and kid packs. Perform restroom checks, answer phones, and maintain cleanliness in the lobby, bakery, and retail areas. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, assist with marketing promotions, and clear or set tables as needed. Effectively manage guest wait times, resolve complaints by involving managers, and communicate with guests to ensure a positive dining experience. This role requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced farm-to-table environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
