Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Monitor restaurant operations to ensure clean lobby, bakery, and retail areas, and perform restroom checks. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, process gift cards, and assist with marketing promotions and situational selling. Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed, and effectively manage guest wait times by communicating accurate estimates. Resolve guest complaints by involving managers when appropriate. This role requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strong multi-tasking skills. Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions
- Strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)
