Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow while delivering menus and kid packs. Monitor restaurant needs, perform restroom checks, answer phones, and maintain cleanliness in the lobby, bakery, and retail areas. Handle cash and credit transactions, account for all receivables, and assist with marketing and situational selling. Effectively manage guest complaints, clear and sanitize tables, and communicate accurate wait times to guests. Maintain a clean work environment and stock areas as needed. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food in a family dining setting.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
- Computer skills (POS system)

- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
