Ensure the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant by taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and thanking them as they depart. Assign all necessary tables pre-shift, provide servers with appropriate chits, answer phones throughout the shift to direct calls, and pull out chairs while providing menus once seated. Complete additional opening and closing side work-related duties including cleaning, stocking, and setting up the host stand for the next shift.
