Job Summary
Welcome guests with a hospitable, courteous manner, taking their information and quoting wait times accurately. Seat guests in the bar or dining area promptly while presenting menus and promotional materials. Manage the Aloha Guest Manager system to control guest flow, including setting up the floor plan and utilizing wait and reservation lists. Clear dirty dishes, glass, and tableware, then reset tables according to Gyu Kaku standards. Remove bus tubs from behind the bar area and clean, sweep, and organize the front door area before, during, and after every shift. Answer the phone and assist with guest questions, accommodating requests such as refilling beverages or providing silverware. Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines while maintaining a gracious attitude and adhering to the dress and appearance policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency
- Ability to stand or walk for hours at a time
- Ability to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature
- Ability to frequently immerse hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions
- Close vision
