Job Summary
Welcome guests hospitably, greet them with Japanese phrases, and accurately quote wait times using the Aloha Guest Manager system. Seat guests promptly in the bar or dining area while presenting menus and promotional materials. Maintain the front door area's cleanliness and organization before, during, and after every shift. Clear dirty dishes, glass, and tableware, remove bus tubs from behind the bar, and reset tables according to Gyu Kaku standards. Sweep around tables as needed, answer phone calls, and assist with guest requests such as refilling beverages or providing silverware. Ensure strict compliance with sanitation, safety, and dress code policies while adhering to attendance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred
- Position requires participation of Japanese phrases
- Position requires slip-resistant shoes
- This position requires regular attendance
- requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time
- frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature
- frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
