Job Summary
Welcome and farewell all guests with a hospitable, courteous manner while accurately quoting wait times and seating them promptly. Utilize the Aloha Guest Manager system to control guest flow, manage wait and reservation lists, and set up the floor plan. Maintain the front door area cleanliness before, during, and after shifts by clearing dirty dishes, resetting tables, and removing bus tubs. Present menus and promotional materials, answer phone inquiries, and accommodate requests such as refilling beverages. Adhere to Gyu Kaku dress and appearance policies, sanitation guidelines, and slip-resistant footwear requirements. Participate in Japanese phrases and maintain a friendly attitude within the team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency
- Position requires participation of Japanese phrases
- Position requires slip-resistant shoes
- Ability to stand or walk for hours at a time
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
