Job Summary
Greets Guests in a warm, welcoming manner and handles doors, welcomes first-time visitors, informs management of first-time guests, and manages wait lists. Provides guest assistance to servers, processes payments, and maintains cleanliness of the lobby, waiting area, cashier stand, and restrooms. May serve as busser when needed, including cleaning front-of-house areas, restocking tables, clearing dishes, bussing, refilling beverages, and picking up trash. Completes side work and extra projects as assigned. Requires knowledge of service sequence and dining room procedures, guest sensitivity, good judgement, and ability to work independently or in a team; emphasizes hospitality, positive interpersonal skills, and a warm personality.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location and of the Guests who typically visit the work location.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations and complete computer data entry.
- Must have a valid Food Handler’s Card
- Must have a valid Alcohol Server Permit if required by State regulations for serving or cashiering.
