Job Summary
Greet guests warmly and professionally, offering menu recommendations and managing seating to maintain optimal dining room flow. Coordinate with servers and management to accommodate special requests while keeping the Front-of-House organized and clean. Set the ambiance through music, lights, and cleanliness to ensure an enjoyable guest experience. Address and resolve guest issues promptly, escalating concerns to management as needed. Update reservation logs, reset tables, and communicate current promotions and events effectively. Maintain knowledge of all specials and assist with administrative tasks to complete the guest journey from welcome to departure.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to acquire a Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification, RBS (alcohol) certification (before or within 2 + weeks of hiring)
Desired Qualifications
- 6 + months prior experience as host preferred
