Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and seat patrons promptly while maintaining an accurate waitlist during busy periods. Answer phone calls, take to-go orders, and monitor dining room activity to coordinate table turnover. Assist with food running by delivering orders and bussing tables, including clearing, resetting, and sanitizing equipment. Set tables, refill beverages, restock food areas, and perform light cleaning tasks like tidying the host stand. Comply with HACCP guidelines and address guest concerns or escalate issues to leadership. Work on feet for the majority of the day, rotating shifts as needed to support the seamless guest experience at Blue Rock Bar & Grill.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Possesses ability to work independently when necessary
- Possesses an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes
- Demonstrates ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
Desired Qualifications
- One month food service experience preferred
