Job Summary
Answer phones, take messages, and manage reservations while maintaining an accurate wait list. Welcome guests upon arrival and bid them farewell to ensure a lasting positive experience, greeting everyone with a friendly and upbeat demeanor. Coordinate seating arrangements for fast and courteous service, occasionally buss tables to expedite efficient seating. Communicate effectively with all guests and report problems to management immediately. Anticipate needs for scheduled special parties. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and standing or sitting in one location for extended periods. Fluency in English is required, with other languages preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience with customer service and/or hosting
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be able to read, review and understand seating charts
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong ability to provide attention to detail
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Handling objects (including food and utensils), products, speaking over and operating phones
- Standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Must be able to stay in one location at either the entrance or exit of the venue for long periods of time and safely/efficiently move about the entire facility
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
