Job Summary
Greet guests in person or by phone to schedule reservations, coordinate front-of-house flow, and escort diners to assigned tables. Check reservation lists, manage the waiting list, and assist with coat check, menu delivery, and table maintenance. Complete opening, side, and closing duties while maintaining station cleanliness and safety standards. Assist with Platinum Club service, banquets, and special events as scheduled. Communicate guest requests to managers and support team members with assigned tasks. Adhere to all policies regarding liquor, food handling, and sanitation.
Required Qualifications
- Meet state age requirement for the position
- Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively
- Must have professional communication and social skills appropriate for guests
- Must be self motivated and able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Strong team-work orientation, well organized, able to take direction from others
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Able to work a flexible, part-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Lunch-time serving hours may be required for certain seasons, holidays, or special events
- Work days and hours vary in accordance with business need
- Able to stand for 4 or more hours at a time
- Able to lift and carry 15 pounds on a regular basis
Desired Qualifications
