Job Summary
Hospital/healthcare role in Advocate Condell Medical Center’s Food and Nutrition department. Responsibilities include processing and updating physician diet orders, maintaining patient card files, and entering/modifying menus and nourishments using CBORD and Care Connection; assisting with room service and communicating with patients, families, nursing, and kitchen staff; ensuring accuracy of diet orders and tray/nourishment delivery; supporting training and inservices; distributing patient meals and documenting intakes/calorie counts; maintaining professional presence and adhering to service commitments, courtesy, and safety standards. Required skills include clear English communication, basic computer/data entry, math conversions (oz, cc, ml), and the ability to handle multiple tasks, with a flexible schedule and weekend availability. Education/Experience: 6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality or customer service preferred. Location: Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. Schedule: Afternoons 3:30pm - 8pm; part-time; potential weekends; no benefits eligibility noted in the description.
