Job Summary
Greet guests warmly and manage seating and reservations to ensure smooth flow and equitable seating. Escort guests to tables, present menus, and assist with seating preferences. Maintain cleanliness of the FOH and host station, communicate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover, and address guest questions or concerns. Be knowledgeable about the menu, daily specials, and promotions while upholding grooming and dress code standards. Respond to complaints professionally or escalate to management, assist with waitlists and reservations, and perform sidework including balancing the shift drawer. Adhere to safety, health standards, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Demonstrate reliable attendance, wear uniforms and nametag, and, if applicable, possess a gaming license. Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) or more years in a customer service role, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Preferred two (2) or more years of experience as a host/hostess in hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment
