Job Summary
Host role at a healthcare clinic focuses on delivering a premier member service experience. Responsibilities include welcoming members, handling check-in with knowledge of self-insured employer health benefits (copays, coinsurance, and related requirements), processing transactions to begin or complete visits, answering member inquiries via calls and email, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with providers and staff to ensure a seamless, patient-centered care experience. Requires ability to understand benefit eligibility files, clinic workflows, and to support members through the visit process; strong hospitality, organizational, multitasking, issue-resolution, and teamwork skills are emphasized. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1 year in a customer service role are required; preferred qualifications include familiarity with Apple products and Windows/ChromeOS ecosystems, plus strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; Basic Life Support certification is listed among preferred qualifications.
