Job Summary
The Hospitality Intern provides hands-on support in guest services and hospitality operations in a wildlife park. Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing information about attractions, addressing inquiries, assisting in concessions and retail, operating point-of-sale systems, and maintaining presentation standards. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. A background in Hospitality or related fields is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Communications, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Interest in tourism operations, communication, and conservation
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
