Job Summary
Clean and maintain a safe environment in assigned areas by performing environmental tasks necessary for departmental functioning. Respond to dispatch in a timely manner, address issues through the proper chain of command, and document responses legibly while maintaining open communication via radio or phone. Execute cleaning duties including spill cleanup according to HAZMAT guidelines and report equipment problems to appropriate personnel. Ensure all interactions utilize proper radio and phone etiquette.
Required Qualifications
- ability to communicate and understand simple directions in English
- ability to read MSDS & chemical labels
- ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
